PRAYING FOR PEACE
This is now the third week of the WAR - Israel and the US bombing Iran and Lebanon, while Iran retaliates with bombings throughout the Middle East.
Meanwhile, the people, the innocent people, who believe in PEACE, are subjected to horrors, just as with the millions in Gaza, and the many thousands who have lost their lives. And the same with Russia invading Ukraine. Diplomacy to end these conflicts just has not worked.
I am presently at a loss for words. It is truly a time for change with humanity, a change away from violence, greed, war and all it entails. While there are those who line their pockets and make more fortunes, there are those who are losing everything, and their lives, all to satisfy the rantings of leaders who are more concerned about oil and money, than life.
And what of NATURE. It seems to have been put into a back seat.
I sit here watching snow coming down. It's March 16, and this is the first snow day of this winter, a winter that has seen no snow until now. Mother Earth may very well be taking care of things.
Meanwhile, a teacher from Amman, Jordan has sent me a video of children in her school performing the One Seed play and song during their Science Day three weeks ago. Their world has changed since then.
A friend in Beirut, Lebanon, who raises the spirits of children through her theatre company, has sent along art pieces from her nieces who visited her and enjoyed the One Seed movie and story.
My prayers are with all, and for a raising of heart consciousness in the perpetrators.
Om Shalom Asha Inshallah.
May you and all living beings be well, be happy, and at peace.
🙏☮
